Mr. Glendon L. Minter, age 89 of Benton, KY, died on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Lakeway Nursing and Rehab, Benton, KY. He was a self employed contractor and attended Walnut Street Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gwen (Stevens) Minter of Benton, KY, daughter, Kimberly Brooks Parrish, husband Boyd of Nashville, TN, step-son, Mitch Harper, wife Carole of Benton, KY, brother, Elwood Minter of Peoria, IL, grandchildren, Brittany Brooks (Sam Johnson), Misty Dyson (Billy), and great-grandchildren, Kate and Kelly Dyson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil “Sun” and Verna (Finch) Minter, brothers, Bill Minter, Virgil Minter, Joe Edd Minter, and sisters, Dovie Croley and Marie Gates.
Graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020, 2:30 p.m. at Wallace Cemetery, Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.
No public visitation is scheduled.
