Mrs. Nancy C. Flood, age 74, of Mayfield passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at her residence.
She was a member of Pottsville Church of Christ, a graduate of Lowes High School class of 1964 and a homemaker. She was also a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Mrs. Flood leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 43 years, Robert A. Flood; one son, Monty (Kim) Glisson of Paducah, KY; two daughters, Gina (The late Keith) Hobbs and Brandi Flood both of Mayfield, KY; three brothers, Carl (Syndal) Jones of Hickory, KY, Richard (Pat) Jones of Mayfield, KY and Mike (Sherry) Jones of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Agnes Jones and Belita (Joe) Hendley both of Mayfield, KY; seven grandchildren, Ryan McReynolds, Shelby (Taylor) Strong, Abby Glisson, Sidney (Tyler) Moore, Daylen Jackson, Josh Mayfield and Paige Mayfield; and nine great grandchildren, Lilly McReynolds, Maddox Glisson, Joe Louis Moore, Kennedy Strong, Ryder McReynolds, Miko Dumas, Jaelynn Moore, Bentley Strong and Karleigh Moore.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Garland Jones and her parents, Eldridge and Novella Sanderson Jones.
Graveside services for Mrs. Nancy C. Flood will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Highland Park Cemetery. Mike Peters will officiate. Interment will follow.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
