Mr. Landen Wyatt Spencer, 17 of the Griggstown Community, Calvert City, died at 3:14 a.m. Thursday, September 17th, 2020 at his residence following a long battle with cancer.
Landen was a junior at Marshall County High School and was an avid hunter and participated in the youth baseball program prior to his illness. He was a member of Pathway Baptist Church in Calvert City.
He was born August 14, 2003 in Paducah to Dale and Denise (Croft) Spencer who survive.
Landen is also survived by two brothers, Mason Spencer, wife Tabitha of Benton and Shane Spencer, wife Beth of West Paducah; two sisters, Shelbi Spencer, fiance’ Tanner Sims and Meaghan Spencer both of Griggstown; his girlfriend, Anniston Hopkins of Benton; one nephew, Marshall Spencer; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceeded in death by his grandparents, Vivian Loechte, Louis Croft, and Carl and Mollie Spencer.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19th, 2020 at Pathway Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Donald will officiate with interment to follow in Wilson Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Friday at the church and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour.
