Jo Ann Wilkins, 86, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 7:00 A.M. Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Jo Ann was born in Dongola, Illinois on October 19, 1933 to Clarence and Emma Cossiboom. Prior to her children, she was employed by South Central Bell. She was one of the founding members of Concord United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Wilkins is survived by her daughters, Lisa Shelby (Bob), of Eddyville, Kentucky and Raye Ann Wilkins, of Paducah; her sons, Rodney Wilkins (Marsha), of Paducah, Randy Wilkins, of West Paducah, Tom Wilkins (Karen), of Paducah; her brother, Wesley Cossiboom, of Paducah; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Rufus Ray Wilkins, Jr; her parents, Clarence Alonzo Cossiboom and Emma Mae Henderson Cossiboom; her sisters, Lela Youngblood, Shirley Dunlap, Barbara Baumgardner and Marie Davis; her brother, Dean Cossiboom.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 31, 2020, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dean Emerson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 P.M. Monday, August 31, 2020, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
