Golden Pond, Kentucky Faced with budget shortfalls created by the shutdown of our gift shops and facilities, the Friends of Land Between the Lakes are trying something new by participating in Kentucky Gives Day, a state-wide philanthropy event planned for May 12, 2020. It is organized by the Kentucky Nonprofit Network and will give us exposure to new audiences and potential donors. The site is active and supporters may visit before May 12. There are also opportunities to offer challenges and matches to others.
We need your help to maximize this opportunity by spreading the word and letting your network know that you are a supporter of the Friends of LBL. The funds we raise through this campaign will help us support our employees who continue to care for the animals at the Nature Station and Homeplace, as well as invest in preparations for re-opening safely.
