Charlie Brown, Sr., age 81, of Benton passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Charlie was born in Albany, New York on July 21, 1938 to the late Roth and Marian Brown. He was married to the late Robie Brown. He was a career salesman and lived a large portion of his life in California. He loved to travel and he was always up for an adventure. He will be remembered as someone who was very charismatic and likeable, as well as being Taylor Swift’s favorite substitute teacher.
Charlie is survived by his daughter, Lynn Brown; his sons, Charles Brown, Jr. and Chip Brown; step-son, Joe Schoenbachler; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one son, Randy Brown.
Private services will be held at a later date.
