Mrs. Emma Lucille Tyree, age 88 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. She was a homemaker and member of Oak Valley Church of Christ.
Born Wednesday, October 7, 1931 in Marshall County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Paul Hendrickson and the late Martha (Thompson) Hendrickson.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Dirl B. “Buggs” Tyree of Benton, KY, sons, Jimmie L. Thompson, wife Lanora of Benton, KY, Mike H. Thompson of Benton, KY and Dennis B. Thompson, wife Robin of Benton, KY, daughter, Tina G. Ryan of Benton, KY, sister, Ann Ford of Benton, KY, brother, Gerald Hendrickson; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Oak Valley Church of Christ with Chris Buford and David Hendrickson officiating.
Interment will follow in Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
