Daytime closure on KY 135 west of Tolu in Crittenden County on Thursday, Oct 17

PADUCAH, Ky. (October 14, 2019) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 135/Tolu-Carrsville Road in Crittenden County during daylight hours on Thursday, October 17, 2019.

KY 135/Tolu-Carrsville Road will be closed at mile point 4.8 west of the Tolu community to allow repairs to a large base failure.  This daytime closure is along KY 135 about halfway between KY 297/Elizabethtown Ferry Road and KY 723.

KY 135 will be closed starting at approximately 8:00 a.m., CDT, Thursday, immediately after the morning school bus run.  The roadway at this site is expected to reopen to traffic around 2:30 p.m., on Thursday.

There will be no marked detour.  However, motorists may self-detour via KY 297 and KY 723.
