Mr. David Linn “Slim” Nanney, age 56 of Hardin, KY died on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was a graduate of Marshall County High School and worked for the Marshall County Road Department.
Born Wednesday, April 10, 1963, he was the son of the late Ray Linn and Joe Ann (Houser) Nanney.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Jan Young Hedrick of Dexter, KY and her grandchildren, Brianna, Kyle, and Damien, his uncles, Glenn Nanney, wife Margie of Aurora, KY, Dan Nanney of Hardin, KY, aunt, Norma Reed, husband Bill of Hardin, KY, and cousins, Barry Reed, Bethany Curd, Tina Manion, Colton Nanney, and Maddie Nanney.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Bro. James Keeling and Bro. Charlie Canup officiating.
Interment will follow in the Barnett Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
