Mrs. Martha Rebecca (Riley) Bohanon, age, 91 of Benton, KY died, Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Stonecreek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah, KY.Born Tuesday, November 1, 1927 in Marshall Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Dewey L. Riley and the late Edith (Canup) Riley. She was homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are her husband of 74 years Louis E. Bohanon of Benton, KY, daughter, Becky Canup, husband Charlie of Benton, KY, son, Philip Bohanon, wife Inga of Benton, KY, brother, Charles William Riley, wife Edna of Benton, KY, grandchildren; Josh Canup, wife Brittany, Justin Canup, wife Emily, Chase Riley Canup, wife Kayla, Kevin Bohanon, wife Misty, great grandchildren; Ava Canup, Charleigh Fay Canup and Nora Canup. Two special caregivers, Larry Powell and Anne Stovall, also several nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Emma Lee Taylor, Mary Elizabeth Phillips and grandson, Mitchell Bohanon .
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY with Rev. Charlie Canup officiating.
Interment will follow the service in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
