Marshall County 911 Dispatch reported the Purchase Parkway was blocked on both northbound and southbound lanes at the 37 mile marker due to a crash involving a tanker hauling a hazardous material.
A tanker truck overturned near the 37mm with a load of what has been initially identified as Ferrous Chlioride.
This is between Mayfield and Benton.
The road was blocked at 6:50 pm on Wednesday and reopened at 3:00 am on Thursday.
