Mr. Dallas R. Dunn, 86, of Benton, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at his residence. Born Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1931, in Golden Pond. He was a retired pipefitter for Pip Johnson Construction and a member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 184.
Mr. Dunn is survived by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis June (Noles) Dunn; son Mark Dunn of Benton; daughters, Gail Richardson of Benton, Karen Bruce of Paducah and Marcia Sirls of Benton; 11 grandchildren, Justin English, Dallas Harper, Dustin Dunn, Carson Dunn, Dusty Freeman, Misty Hufford, Jeff Proctor, Jason Darnell, Missy White, Richie Dunn and Jennifer Bellamy; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his son, Dale Dunn; three grandchildren; brothers, Alvin Dunn and Dale Dunn, sisters, Alice Coursey, Dora Dean Parker, Delilah Pogue and Dorothy Dunn. His parents were the late Felix and Eva (Jones) Dunn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Darrin Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held between the hours of noon pm and 2 pm.. on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
