Marshall County residents turned out to celebrate the season Saturday in Calvert City at the 58th annual Christmas parade. Local organizations decorated floats for the lighted parade, then stayed for hot cocoa, music and a tree-lighting ceremony in Memorial Park. The event kicked off with a Christmas bizarre at the Civic Center, hosted by the Calvert Area Development Association.
Proceeds from booth rentals go to benefit the Calvert City-Sharpe Family Resource Center. Totals from the event and parade float winners will be updated Monday, as they become available.
