Marshall County Sheriff’s report Sept. 11, 2017

On September 11th, Sgt. Tim Reynolds went to 4th Street in Hardin in order to serve warrants. Keith Allen Kraft was served a Calloway County Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear and a Marshall County Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear.

On September 11th, Sgt. Eddie McGuire was on I-24 where a man had left his girlfriend during an argument. While on the scene, a semi truck puled up driven by the man. After the investigation, the man identified as Terry Michael Ledwell, 53, of Henderson, N.C. was arrested and charged with CDL Under Influence of Alc .04 percent / Controlled Substance. He was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.

On September 10th, Deputy Chris Greenfield and Sgt. Jason Lane served a search warrant at a residence on Vaughn’s Chapel Road. According to the citation filed by Deputy Greenfield, Casey Fletcher age 27 of Calvert City was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Off (Methamphetamine) and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy / Poss. Fletcher was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.

On September 9th, Deputy Josh Anderson investigated a report of vandalism on Southern Comfort Road. Charles L. Cox reported that someone had dented his truck while it was parked at the residence.

Warrant served by Court Security:

On September 4th, Deputy Barry Howell served Victor Litchfield of Murray with a complaint warrant out of Calloway County. The charge was for Violation of an KY EPO or DVO.

Sheriff Byars spoke to someone today that reported receiving a call with a caller ID number coming up as Kentucky Dam Village. The caller said they were from Consolidated Credit and were asking for a lot of personally identifiable information. Luckily, no information was given. Please be aware and do not give information to anyone that calls you. Watch for scams and always be on the lookout.
