Fall sports teams introduced at 2017 Meet the Marshals

Marshall County High School kicked off the fall sports season Thursday with the annual Meet the Marshals.

The annual Meet the Marshals, held Thursday evening in Reed Conder Gymnasium, officially kicked off the fall sports season at Marshall County High School. Coaches introduced the 2017 edition of the football team, cheerleaders, dance team, girl’s soccer, boy’s soccer, cross country, mountain bike team and volleyball.

Missing Thursday was the girls and boys golf team who were competing in their second match of the season, playing Graves County at the Kentucky Dam State Park Golf Course. The golf team has also played in four tournaments in a season that began on July 28th.

The season gets rolling next week for the football team with their opener at Fort Campbell on Friday. The Lady Marshals and Marshals soccer teams play their first game on Monday at Graves County in a JV double-header and the Varsity teams begin play on Tuesday. Volleyball plays their first match at home on Thursday against Ballard Memorial.

The cross country team gets started on August 22 at Calloway County and mountain bike team competes in their first race on September 10th in Columbia, TN.
