In a statement released Wednesday by Marshall County Hospital CEO David Fuqua, cyber security professionals have begun an investigation, and no patient, employee or financial information has been put at risk.

Fuqua said the event has not impacted patient care or any other service provided by the hospital and that the number one goal for MCH was protect the privacy of its patients and provide excellent healthcare.
