Garbarge truck driver pleads not guilty to all charges

Dalton Lampley, a 23-year-old resident of Calvert City, pleaded not guilty to all charges relating to his alleged theft of a WastePath sanitation truck on Friday, March 17th that lead to a multi-county pursuit along with several crashes and injuries.

The charges in Marshall County include fleeing and evading police and possession of methamphetamine.

In McCracken County, he is charged with the above along with six counts of vehicular assault.

The pursuit started on I-24 in McCracken County and ended on US 62 in Calvert City when spike strips were used to deflate Lampley’s tires.

According to WastePath records, he was employed there at the time of his pursuit.

His preliminary hearing in Marshall County District Court is set for Wednesday at 1:00 pm.

No time has been set for a McCracken County hearing.
