Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop again on Monday, according to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service office in Paducah.
A few severe storms are possible, with damaging winds the primary concern.
Locally heavy rainfall will be possible with any thunderstorms occurring Monday or Monday evening.
More thunderstorms could develop at any time from Tuesday through Saturday, with plenty of heat and humidity between showers. Lightning and locally heavy rain could still be a factor through the week.
Heat indices of 100 to 105 could be common at least until next weekend.
