Average retail gasoline prices in Kentucky have fallen 12 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.74 a gallon Sunday, according to GasBuddy.
This compares with the national average that has fallen 6 cents per gallon in the last week to $1.90 a gallon.
In the Lakes Area, prices range from $1.65 to $1.89.
Across the river from Evansville in Henderson, Kentucky however, prices are 30 to 40 cents cheaper at $1.37 to $1.49 a gallon.
Lexington and Louisville prices are also down about 15 cents over the past week.
