(PADUCAH, Ky.) — A 20-year-old Paducah man has been arrested and charged with multiple sex crimes involving a juvenile, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Truitt Henschel was taken into custody on February 27, 2026, following a weeks-long investigation that began when detectives received a tip in February alleging he was engaged in an illegal sexual relationship with a minor female.
Investigators gathered evidence and interviewed the victim in the days leading up to the arrest before locating and apprehending Henschel.
He now faces nine charges in total: three counts each of Second-Degree Sexual Abuse, Sexual Misconduct, and Unlawful Transaction with a Minor Under 16 — all first-degree charges on the latter offense.
Henschel was booked into the Marshall County Jail following his arrest.
The investigation was conducted by detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office. No further details about the case have been released at this time.
