Marshall County voters will go to the polls Tuesday for the second time in three years to turn thumbs up or thumbs down on legalized alcohol sales.

The referendum in July 2012 resulted in 53 percent voting no, to keep the county dry, as it has been since the 1930s.

The yes-no decision is the only item on the ballot for this special election. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the usual precinct polling places for all registered voters to cast their ballots.
