English in Victory Lane for fifth time in 2021

Riggs Motorsports driver, Tanner English of Benton, rolled into Victory Lane for the fifth time in 2021 at the Clarksville Speedway on Saturday with his dominating performance and a $10,053 victory.

His fourth time in victory lane for Riggs Motorsports came on April 17th at the Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Ky. Tanner recorded the second fastest lap overall during the Super Late Model qualifying session before his victory in heat race action. He led the feature field in every circuit in the 30-lapper.

Saturday, April 10th, Tanner earned his third win of the season at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee. He laid down the second fastest lap overall in DIRTcar Super Late Model qualifying and started the 20-lap feature from the outside of the front row, then led the second half of the race to take the win.

His second win of the season came at Clarksville Speedway on March 28th after the quickest lap overall during qualifying to earn the pole position for the DIRTcar Super Late Model main event. Tanner led each and every circuit of the 15-lapper to take home the $1,500 top prize.

Tanner earned his first win of 2021 in the ‘Toilet Bowl Classic’ at Clarksville Speedway on March 13th.  He set a new track record in DIRTcar Super Late Model qualifying with a fast lap of 11.581 seconds. He then paced the field for all thirty circuits during the headliner to earn the $5,000 winner’s check and the unique toilet bowl trophy.Read more on Tanner’s season HERE.
