Daytime Lane Restriction on U.S. 60/Irvin Cobb Drive at Beltline Overpass in Paducah starting Today

PADUCAH, KY (Nov. 23, 2020) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a work zone lane restriction along U.S. 60/Irvin Cobb Drive at the Beltline Overpass area in Paducah starting today, November 23, 2020.

This daytime work zone between KY 994/Old Mayfield Road at mile point 14.3 and Brown Street at mile point 15.1 is to allow use of a mini-excavator for mechanical brush cutting behind the guardrails along this 4-lane section of U.S. 60.

This lane restriction will be in place from approximately 8 a.m., CST, to about 2:30 p.m., each day through Wednesday. The crew may have to return on Monday of next week to complete the project.

There should be few, if any, delays.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Approximately 15,000 vehicles travel this section of U.S. 60/Irvin Cobb Drive in Paducah in an average day.
