Sheriff Eddie McGuire was a guest on Coffee Call talking about the great results from the Marshall to Marshall project

The truck, donated by David Taylor Motors and trailer donated for use by Mintor Rooding made it’s way on Sunday to the Cameron Parish in Louisiana. Among the many generous donations was one from Midwest Equipment out of Evansville with $10k worth of chainsaws, fuel and gloves. Citizens and area churches bought generators, gas cans, bottled water and other needed items that will be delivered this weekend to first responders in Louisiana. Photos: Chris Freeland

Marshall County Sheriff Eddie McGuire joined us on WCBL’s Coffee Call. He said the Marshall to Marshall project to help some of the residents in Louisiana affected by Hurricane Laura was a huge success. Around $40,000 worth of generators, chainsaws, tarps and other items were donated to the area. The items were transported from Marshall County to Louisiana in one day. Sheriff McGuire said the generosity of the community was tremendous and he wanted to thank all those who had a hand in making the project such a big success.
