New Marshall High principal Robin McCoy shares vision of community, empowerment with Rotarians

Robin McCoy is the new principal of Marshall County High School. She was the guest speaker at the weekly meeting of the Marshall County Rotary Club at Marcella’s Kitchen in Benton Monday, Aug. 3.

She explained that she plans to lead the school with GRIT, an acronym representing growth, respect, intelligence, and trust. McCoy envisions the school’s stakeholders together creating the school’s ultimate mission to empower people, learning, and community through connecting community, taking pride, and empowerment.

To illustrate her themes, she encouraged Rotarians to contribute their ideas related to the community’s partnership with the school. Rotarians suggested utilizing their club to work with high school students in developing and pursuing students’ goals.
