Marshall County Sheriff’s Office arrests two for drug trafficking

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Benton man and a Ledbetter woman and charged them with drug trafficking following an investigation.

On Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Marshall County Special Response Tactical Team, along with Detectives from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Officers from the Benton Police Department, served a search warrant at 111 East 21st Street. The search warrant was issued following an investigation into the possible trafficking of drugs at that residence.

During a search of the property, methamphetamine and various prescription medications were located, along with other evidence related to the trafficking of drugs. Also located on the property were Samuel “Lance” Fieldson and Donna Blades.

Samuel “Lance” Fieldson, age 47, of Benton, Kentucky, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Donna L. Blades, age 52, of Ledbetter, Kentucky, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
