Calloway County student charged with Terroristic Threatening

The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and the Calloway County Board of Education have conducted a joint investigation into alleged threats against the Calloway County High School. The investigation, which began around 5pm on Tuesday evening January 21st, stems from students reportedly overhearing an individual make threats against the school. The students reported the incident to school administrators and the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation by Sgt. Tidwell revealed that a 15 year old student made threats against the school. The juvenile was located later the same evening and the investigation led to charges of Terroristic Threatening 2nd degree. The juvenile was taken into custody and detained before being transported to the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
