CFS cross country competes in Marshall County Invitational

Boaz Burnett recorded the best finish for CFS on Saturday at the Marshall County Invitational, placing 128th in 21:10.79,

Christian Fellowship’s cross country team competed Saturday in the 40th Marshall County Invitational. Six guys and one girl finished the hot, dry and tough course with the top finish coming from Boaz Burnett in 128th with a time of 21:10.79.

Results from the rest of the team: Mikey Bivin 140 (21:33.12), Isaac Hovekamp 180 (23:05.10), Mark Garland 222 (26:50.60), Trey Clendenen 225 (28:01.43) and Morgan Wright 232 (31:14.25). In the girl’s race, Allison Silvernail finished 154th (37:42.90).
