Pickin’ on a Soldier’s Heart Fundraiser in Aurora Friday and Saturday!

A Soldier’s Heart Bluegrass and Muddy Waters will be hosting their Annual Fundraiser this weekend in Aurora at Kenlake State Park at the Amphitheater.  They are a veteran-founded and operated non-profit organization right here in Marshall County with Jeremy Wallace at the helm, that focuses on other veteran’s who suffer from combat related PTSD.

This year’s fundraiser is a 2 day Music Festival called Pickin’ On A Soldier’s Heart!  Friday night the gates will open at 5pm and the show will start at 6pm. Saturday the gates open at 11am and the show starts at Noon.  Be sure to check out the Pickin’ On A Soldier’s Heart Facebook Event Page to see the full line-up of bands and when they will hit the stage!

In addition to the bands they have for you, they also have a variety of Food Trucks lined up for the event as well!  This will be an awesome event to add to your weekend schedule for sure!

There is a $10 suggested donation for entry at the gate and there will be event T-shirts and merchandise for sale as well.  A Silent Auction & Raffle will also be taking place during the event that you won’t want to miss with all proceeds going to benefit A Soldier’s Heart Bluegrass and Muddy Waters to fund retreats for veterans, male and female, who suffer from combat-related PTSD.

This is a good opportunity to support a local non-profit while enjoying some great food and entertainment in Aurora this weekend.
