First Groundbreaking Ceremony Held Today at Southwest One Industrial Park

The Groundbreaking for United Systems and Software Inc. was held today with a large amount of people on hand to support them at the Southwest One Industrial Park located on 641 across from the new South Marshall Middle School.  Speakers today included Josh Tubbs: Ky Lake Economical Development, Rita Dotson: Mayor of Benton, Kevin Neal: Marshall County Judge Executive, Erran Persley: Commissioner, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, and Scott Waldrop: President of United Systems and Software.

United Systems and Software Inc. is currently located on Ash Street where they are at full capacity are needing to expand.  They are excited to be the first to break ground in the new Industrial Park for their $5.3million expansion that will bring approximately 50 new high paying full-time jobs to our county.  Their new headquarters will be 20,000 square feet to house their current employees as well as the new employees that will be hired once the facility is completed, which they are hoping for May 2020.
