The Marshall County Extension Office hosts many workshops throughout the year ranging from cooking and gardening to hunting, which most have no cost to attend. The next workshop will be Deer Management on Thursday, September 5th, from 5pm to 8pm at the Extension office located at 1933 Mayfield Highway in Benton.
Dr. Matt Springer, UK Wildlife Management Professor, will be on hand to lead the discussion and answer any questions. The workshop will include how to plan and grow successful food plots, Boone & Crocket scoring demonstration, and a live on farm food plot establishment demonstration at Larry Neal’s Farm.
