Middle School Archers Represent Marshall County at World Competition in Nashville

Maci West and Christian Jones finished out their 2018-2019 NASP Season at the World Championship Competition in Nashville, TN over the weekend!  Both of these students represented Marshall County well.  I spoke with Maci’s mom Tana after the competition and she said that they are proud of Maci and that Christian’s parents are just as proud.  When I asked if there was anything she would like to say about this weekend Tana said, “They represented our county and state well and both are fantastic archers with great attitudes and sportsmanship etiquette.”

Below are their rankings from this weekends competition!

Maci competed in Bullseye only and ranked 3rd out of 168 7th Grade girls!  This is an absolutely amazing accomplishment.  She was 9th out of 469 middle school girls and her overall ranking was 27th out of 1,255 girls.

Christian competed in both Bullseye and 3-D.  In Bullseye he ranked 13th out of 165 7th grade boys and 36th out of 469 middle school boys.  This also put him at 129th out of 1,280 overall.  When it came to his 3-D competition, Christian ranked 25th out of 105 7th grade boys and 67th out of 291 middle school boys with an overall ranking of 222 of 793.

These students will be in 8th grade at North Marshall Middle School this year and I foresee numerous articles next season containing their names for the Archery season in both NASP and S3DA!
