Marshall County Cheerleading hosted a UCA (Universal Cheerleaders Association) three-day camp Thursday through Saturday at the high school. Middle school through high school squads from throughout the area worked on their skills for the upcoming year in many areas including sideline cheers, stunts, dance and also received private coaching and evaluations.

Founded in 1974 by Jeff Webb, today UCA is the largest cheerleading camp company in the world. Along with the many varieties of camps offered throughout the country, UCA also hosts 50 regional championships and the National Championships each year at Walt Disney World in Orlando which is televised across several ESPN platforms.
