English Continues his 2019 Summer Nationals Tour

Saturday night, Tanner English took the 96 car to Fairbury for the $10,000 to win in the next 2019 Summer Nationals stop, where he was able to qualify 9th in his group.  Tanner went out in Heat 3 starting in 5th and ran 2nd.  When it came time for the Feature, he started in 6th and finished on the Podium in 3rd place!  Check out the Video below to watch the feature!

On to Tri-City Speedway Tuesday Night, for a 40-lap feature that didn’t turn out how any of the drivers had anticipated, seeing that only 11 cars finished the race.  Tanner qualified 3rd and was 2nd in his heat.  He was running 5th in the Feature (which is where he had started the race) when he got spun out by the #3 car of Brian Shirley.  His front bumper was bent pretty bad, and unfortunately Tanner was out with 15 laps to go.

In true English fashion, they loaded up the trailer and headed back to the garage to put the car back together and head to the next track and race toward those checkered flags again!  You can catch him in Brownstown, Indiana tomorrow night!
