The round of storms that swept through our service area during the late afternoon inflicted significant damage to our infrastructure. Personnel will be assessing damage throughout the night which will set crews up for success in the morning. Weather conditions, fatigue and forecasts that predict more storms in very near future, have hampered our progress in restoring power. Consumer-members who are currently experiencing an outage, should prepare to be out for several hours, possibly days.
A press release will be sent Monday morning that contains a better assessment of damage and outage duration for areas impacted.
