Diabetes is a very serious disease and once diagnosed it’s very important to eat healthy, take medication if necessary and to follow the advice of your doctor. Recent guests on Coffee Call were Rachel Bidwell of the Marshall County Health Department, along with University of Kentucky interns Tera Flora and Maddie Lyman. WCBL’s Chris Freeland talked with the guests on some early warning signs of diabetes and some measures to take if diagnosed, and also the difference between type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
