Neyland Jezik to compete in the National Elks Hoop Shoot

Neyland Jezik, son of Tommy and Jennifer Jezik of Benton will compete in the National Elk’s Hoop Shoot competition in Chicago, IL on April 27th.

Neyland, a 5th grade student at Benton Elementary, has come this far by winning 1st place at the local, district, state and regional competitions held earlier this year.

The Elk’s Hoop Shoot is a free-throw program for ages 8-13.   Contestants win by hitting the most of 25 baskets.   Winners of National contest will have their names inscribed in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Neyland, part of the Central Region 9 which consists of shooters from Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee, will compete against other Hoop Shoot contestants from all across the US.   Good luck Neyland!!!
