The Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce conducted a Ribbon Cutting Friday morning for the Marshall County Special Olympics, whose organization recently joined the Chamber. The Ribbon Cutting took place at Marshall County High School in conjunction with the send-off for basketball teams who are headed to the “March Magic” State Basketball Tournament in Louisville at the MidAmerica Sports Center.
Team members and coaches pictured above at the Ribbon Cutting and pictured below, the Special Olympic athletes were joined by members of the Lady Marshals and Marshals for their send-off to the state tournament. The Marshall County Special Olympics basketball teams will be two of 53 teams in the tournament.
