The Kentucky Opry is hosting a 9 week Open Competition and this week 10 year old Ellie Hack (the Youngest Performer of the night) was the Overall Winner!  This week there were 10 that competed ranging from 10 years of age to 70.  In this competition everyone performs, then the top 3 compete to determine the overall winner.  Ellie’s stage presence and amazing voice won over the judges this week, and she will win you over too if you get the chance to see her perform!

Ellie loves to perform and lives in Benton with her parents, Adam & Ashley Hack, and her two sisters, Emma and Bella.  Ellie is in 4th grade at South Marshall Elementary School.  She has been singing since she was 5 and taking violin and clogging lessons since she was 6.  Her Teachers/Mentors are Mr. Clay Campbell (vocal, violin, stage performance), Ms. Savanna Gardner (vocal, stage performance), and Mrs. Sallie James (clogging).  She has also recently made it to the Grand Finals at the Kentucky Opry Talent Search.  She was the 1st Place Winner in Instrumental, 2nd in Beginner Vocal, and 2nd in Miscellaneous in clogging.  When she is not practicing, she enjoys playing with her dog Sofia and going on vacations with her family and friends to Disney World and Dollywood!
