Kindergarten students from Jonathan Elementary School are going on a different kind of field trip this week.
Instead of the usual fun or educational excursions, these students are taking turns serving at Marcella’s Kitchen in Draffenville. Students are participating by singing songs, passing out Christmas cards they have made, serving food and handing out “free smiles” while they greet guests who arrive at Marcella’s in need of a meal.
This field trip is part of the Kindergarten Kindness Project at the school.
