The Marshall County Public Library’s “Drop Your Drawers” campaign was another success this year with 750 pairs of underwear being donated by the community in the month of November. The library joined together this year with other libraries across the state of Kentucky to get involved with the “Drop Your Drawers” campaign. This drive focuses on donations of packages of new underwear for children.
The underwear that was collected will be divided among the three Marshall County Family Resource Centers in our county who use these donations to replenish their supplies of emergency underpants for students in schools. The Family Resource Centers provide these items to students and families throughout the county.
