This week’s Lyles Eye Center Team of the Week is the Marshall County girl’s and boy’s cross country teams. Both teams just completed a successful 2018 fall season at the KHSAA State Cross Country Meet in Lexington.
This was the first time in five years that both teams qualified for the state meet after the boy’s finished third and the girl’s fifth at the Class 3A Region 1 meet in Owensboro.
In last Saturday’s state meet at the Kentucky Horse Park, the Marshals finished 20th overall and the Lady Marshals 34th. Head Coach of the cross country team is Chris Kerrick.
