CFS falls in three sets to Caldwell County

The #19 ranked Caldwell County Lady Tigers defeated Christian Fellowship at home Thursday in three straight sets, 25-18, 25-21, 25-14 and improve to 9-2. Caldwell County finished the 2017 season at 27-10, losing in the 2nd Region title game to Henderson County. With the loss the Lady Eagles are 3-3.

Abigail Cima led the Lady Eagles in kills with eight, Maggie Wagner had seven, six for Lexi Hovekamp and three for Emma Fletcher. Emma Alexander led in assists with six and Kenzie Murdock had two. Hovekamp had two service aces with one each from Fletcher, Wagner and Cima. Cima had six digs with two each going to Wagner, Alexander and Hovekamp.

CFS will play Tuesday, Sept. 4th in the 1st Region All “A” Classic at the Plex in Paducah, scheduled for a 1:00 game. They will host Marshall County on Sept. 11th.
