Murray, KY (July 19, 2018) – The Kentucky State Police arrested Mark A. Johnson, 39 of Murray, and charged him with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree, a Class “D” Felony. KSP received a complaint on July 18, 2018 of an incident involving a 24 year old female and began their investigation. The investigation resulted in KSP obtaining an arrest warrant on Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson was arrested without incident and lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
Mr. Johnson is a police officer with the Murray State University Public Safety Department and has been placed on administrative leave, by their policy.
