The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans an extended closure along a section of KY 654 in CRITTENDEN County starting Monday, July 23, 2018.
KY 654 will be closed at milepoint 3.55 to allow a large culvert to be replaced that carries a Branch of Mattoon Creek under the roadway. This closure point is along KY 654 just east of the Mattoon community between US 60 and Fishtrap Road.

Weather permitting, KY 654 is expected to reopen at this site late in the day on Friday, July25th.
There will be no marked detour. Motorists may self-detour via US 60 and KY 120.
