This week’s Rogue Graphics SisBro Awards Athlete of the week is South Marshall Middle School eighth grade track athlete, Cade Flatt, who has been setting the track on fire for the Marshall County High School team. Saturday at Paducah Tilghman, Flatt broke a 30-year-old Marshall County record in the 800 meters with a time of 1:56.11 and Tuesday came three-tenths of a second from breaking the school record in the 400 meters. Flatt won silver last summer in the 800 meters in 1:59.94 at the AAU Junior Olympic Games at Eastern Michigan University. Flatt is also a key member of the 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 meter relay teams and competes in the high jump.
