Lady Marshals put together four straight wins

A four game win-steak for the Lady Marshals ended at the Quad State Tournament at the Plex in Paducah with a 2-0 (25-13, 25-9) loss to Owensboro Catholic but they followed that up with a 2-0 (26-24, 25-13) win over Webster County to improve their record to 9-12.

The win-streak began on September 19th in a 3-2 win over Graves County. Their next win came on September 21st 3-1 (22-25, 25-18, 25-21, 27-25) over Mayfield. Leading stats in the win in kills came from Bailey Parker and Halle Langhi with eight each and six by Clara Bradley. Langhi had six aces and Natalie Boward had 13 assists. Leading in digs, Bradley had nine and both Emily Smith and Jessica Hicks had six.

Win number three in the streak came over Murray 3-0 (25-18, 25-3, 25-19). Boward led in assists with 16, Bradley had 12 aces, Langhi had 10 kills and Hicks seven kills.

The fourth straight win came over Calloway County 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-16). Boward led again in assists with 17, Parker and Langhi in kills with eight each and six by Hicks. As a team they came up with 17 digs and 13 aces.

Two more games are left on the regular schedule before the district tournament, October 5th at Hickman County and October 10th at Community Christian Academy.
