Christian Fellowship and Marshall County met on the volleyball court for the second time this season Tuesday at CFS. The Lady Eagles won the first meeting three games to two and completed the district sweep of the Lady Marshals Tuesday 3-1 (25-12, 21-25, 25-13, 25-18) to remain unbeaten at 13-0.
Abigail Cima was ruthless at the net with 18 kills in the win and three blocks. Maggie Wagner had six kills, five service aces and two blocks, Sara Muller led with four blocks, four aces and three kills, Emma Fletcher had three aces and two kills, Emma Alexander had 31 assists and three aces and three blocks by Lexi Hovekamp.
They continued their spotless record with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-6, 25-13) district win over Murray Thursday before heading to Florence, Ky. for the All ‘A’ State Tournament on Saturday.
