Investigators searching for leads in Polaris burglary

Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigators are looking into an alleged theft at Polaris of Benton.

According to MCSD, investigators were called to the store Sept. 1 in reference to a burglary. Store owners reported to police that an unknown suspect entered the store the night before and took about $5,000 worth of merchandise. The perpetrator reportedly broke glass out of the front door to gain entry, store owners reported. Stolen items allegedly included saws and trimmers.

Store owners have offered at $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
