The Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce will seek applicants for the 2017-18 Leadership Marshall County program through Friday.
The program, designed to develop the present and future leadership potential in the community, brings together individuals with varying backgrounds and experience to learn about and become actively involved in opportunities and problem solving of issues the community faces.
The goal, according to the Chamber, is to develop informed, civic-oriented, volunteer leaders who help direct the growth and development of the community.
The program is open to all residents or employees within Marshall County. Class members are chosen based on set criteria and must apply to be considered for the program.
